• *What should I expect at Crosswind?

Our goal is for you to have a meaningful experience connecting with God and others.

  • *What is the culture like at Crosswind?

We are a growing church; you will see diverse backgrounds, ages and ethnic groups.

  • *How long is a service?

Sunday morning service is usually from 10:30 to 12:15.  Although every once in a while things are just too good to rush.

  • *What is the praise and worship like?

At Crosswind praise and worship is an important part of our Sunday morning corporate service.  We use music from a variety of worship cultures such as but not limited to Hillsong, Jesus Culture and Bethel.  You will hear an occasional hymn included because we want to make sure that future generations get to experience some original richness in praise and worship.  The front altar is always open for those that want to come forward during praise and worship time, and leave all distraction behind them.

  • *How should we dress?

You are welcome to come as you are.  There is no dress code for Crosswind.  You will see many different styles.  Our pastor even mixes it up from jeans one Sunday and a pair of chucks to Dockers and sports coat the next.

  • *What can I expect for my infant or toddler?

Children ages 6 weeks to Kindergarten have fun and exciting classes in our Adventure Kids area.  They learn practical hands on bible stories; have their own praise and worship, prayer time and snacks.

We care for our Infants, pray over them and show the love of Jesus while they are entrusted to us.

You are welcome to keep your child in church with you as long as they do not become a disruption to those sitting around you.

We love kids.  However, kids are kids and their needs require attention. Therefore, we provide a changing table in the women’s restroom. We also play the service audio in our foyer, courtyard, and mother’s room. Our Hope is, if you have to leave the service, you can still stay connected and not miss everything.

  • *What can I expect for my kindergarten through fifth grader?

We start the service off with our kindergarten through fifth graders in worship service.  At the close of the praise and worship service, we pray over them and they go off to JUMP (Jesus Use Me Please) Kids where they dive into discovering what having a relationship with this Jesus looks like, they deal with relevant topics and how to love the way Jesus does.

  • *What can I expect for my Junior High and High School kids?

We feel by the time kids reach these ages that they need to be a part of corporate worship, however during other times we have things geared for their specific ages.  To find out more look at our youth ministry page.

  • *What do you do to ensure my kids safety?

We do not take having your children in our care lightly and we consider it a privilege to have them in our classes.  We have strict sign in and sign out policies in place, everyone that has any contact with children is background checked and we never ever allow less than 2 workers with kids, in a class at all times!  Along with background checks, we also put all of our teachers through extensive training.

  • *Does Crosswind offer any other classes?

We do!  From 9-9:50 am, we offer what we call “Growing with God” classes.  The topics are diverse and change approximately every 6-12 weeks.  There are kids’ classes offered at the same time for 0-5th grade.

  • *If Growing with God ends at 9:50 am and church starts at 10:30 am, what do we do during that time?

We are so glad you asked!  We love fellowship time in our courtyard.  Come out enjoy some goodies, a cup of coffee or maybe you prefer hot tea or cocoa…there is something for everybody.  We think you will find our courtyard a great place to relax, make a new friend and of course enjoy something yummy!

  • *Is there anything else I should know before me or my family comes to visit the first time?

We just want you to know you are welcome, no matter what part of your journey you are on today.  If you are just seeing what this church thing is all about that is great and if you have been in church all your life that is great too!  We are all at different stages and we just want you to feel welcome and comfortable.  We encourage you to ask questions and scout us out on social media!

  • *Be sure to get your special gift for visiting us!

There are so many ways to get involved. If you need community, we could be just the spot for you!  We look forward to meeting you.
